The Movement To Buy “American Made”
“Made in the U.S.A.” is good for business these days, and even more so for those who want to show their patriotism and trust in that good old American way of doing business by using high quality safe materials and paying a fair wage, all the while employing safe environmental practices. As evidenced by recent foreign product quality scares over the years, we can’t be sure these stringent requirements are being met by foreign companies of imported products.
On page 26 of the July issue of Kitchenware News, the article “Trade Show Buzz” by Lorrie Baumann, (seriously, it does tie in) points out the varied reasons why Americans have been turning away from foreign products and seeking replacement items made in the U.S.A.
It’s a no-brainer… products manufactured and purchased in the United States keep the dollars in our families and communities, ultimately helping our economy.
And not only are folks looking for “Made in the U.S.A.”, they’re also desiring all-natural, healthy, organic products. I know a company that fits the bill, that hits a home run on all these requirements… J.R.LIGGETT’S. C’mon, you knew I was heading this way!
J.R.LIGGETT’S “home base”… 973 NH RT 12A Cornish, New Hampshire 03745, or for your convenience: www.jrliggett.com . Whole Foods Markets throughout the United States and Canada also carry J.R.LIGGETT’S Shampoo Bars, as do various natural food, drug, and specialty stores. They’re onto a good thing!
